Bartercard International Challenge
Bartercard have revealed that the Leeds Rhinos clash with world-ranked number one New Zealand on Saturday 8th October at Headingley Stadium will be the Bartercard International Challenge.
The prestigious clash will kick off a month-long celebration of the return of the international Rugby League to Headingley as it comes a week before the Rugby League World Cup begins with seven games across the men’s and women’s tournament taking place at the stadium.
Commenting on the announcement Leeds Rhinos Commercial Director Rob Oates said, “We are delighted to announce Bartercard as our official partner for the New Zealand game. The Bartercard International Challenge will be an incredible occasion just as it was back in 2015 when the Kiwis last played the Rhinos. Games between club sides and international touring teams are part of the fabric of Rugby League but so rare these days, and this is a match not to be missed.”
